Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using vaultsuite.dev ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
vaultsuite.dev provides managed hosting for CryptPad, an open-source end-to-end encrypted collaboration suite. You receive a dedicated CryptPad instance running in an isolated container on our infrastructure.
3. Account registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
4. Payment and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are in USD. You agree to pay all fees associated with your account. We may change prices with 30 days' notice.
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial — your card is not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel at any time before then at no cost. After the trial, fees for a started billing period are non-refundable except where required by law; if something went wrong on our side, contact support@vaultsuite.dev and we will make it right.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Upload or share content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use the Service to distribute malware or conduct attacks
- Exceed your plan's resource limits without upgrading
6. Data and privacy
All documents are end-to-end encrypted. We cannot read your data. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data we collect and how we use it.
You retain all ownership of your data. We process your data only as necessary to provide the Service.
7. Data retention and deletion
Your instance keeps running until the end of the billing period you have paid for. When your subscription ends — or immediately, if you delete your account — your instance and the data on it are permanently deleted. Residual daily backup snapshots age out automatically within 14 days. Export your documents before cancelling (CryptPad has one-click export); your workspace name stays reserved for you if you resubscribe.
8. Service availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We will notify you of planned maintenance in advance when possible.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, vaultsuite.dev is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the member state where our entity is established.
11. Changes to terms
We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
